We network with adoptions in India, Bulgaria, China and Vietnam. We also work with the placement of children from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, El Salvador, Jamaica, Haiti and Thailand. Click here to see an overview of international adoptions in the Dominican Republic.

THE ROMANIAN PROGRAM IS AT A STANDSTILL BECAUSE OF THE NEW LAWS IMPLEMENTED IN JANUARY 2005. Unfortunately, UAC like so many agencies in the US, France and Italy, have cases in the pipeline. It is sad to think how the children are deprived of the love and nurturing they could have from their adoptive parents.

Update: Under present Romanian laws, only Romanian grandparents can adopt while several hundred pipeline cases still remain at a stand-off.You MUST consider time frames throughout the entire adoption process may not be to your liking — however, patience and trust in your primary agency will help your emotional state a great deal. Keeping busy will keep you from becoming frustrated.

Email us at UACADOPT@aol.com for a specific country information. Unfortunately, certain countries of the world do not permit adoptions. For your information, we have compiled a list of some of those countries and the reasons why. Click here for that list.

Due to a country’s politics, natural disasters, or local dissension, child placement ability is subject to change with little, if any, advance notice.
